Nick is a founder, strategist, and brand architect with eight years of experience in design and marketing. He founded Onyx Studio out of a genuine passion for helping businesses communicate who they are (both visually and verbally) and why it matters. Nick brings both the creative eye and the strategic mind to every client relationship, ensuring that what looks good also works. Beyond the agency, Nick is an active voice in the North Alabama business community. He serves as an Ambassador for the Etowah Chamber of Commerce, is a member of the Gadsden Rotary Club, and worships at Church of the Highlands.

Adela began her journey at JSU, where she obtained a BFA in Graphic Design. From there she helped build Onyx from the ground up with an eye for design and a heart for local businesses. Her work quickly became a go-to for brands, churches, and organizations looking for clean, cohesive branding.

Rhi has a natural eye for design and an instinct for what makes something feel just right, she brings an artistic sensibility to every project she's part of. From the first conversation with a client to the final deliverable, Rhi is involved at every step of the marketing journey, supporting the creative process, keeping projects moving, and making sure the work reflects the vision every time.

Nate brings a background most web designers don't have: five years as a Department of Defense contractor, writing software for the U.S. Air Force, Army, and Marines. Trained as a Computer Scientist at Jacksonville State University with a concentration in Information Assurance, Nate learned his craft in environments where cutting corners isn't an option. That standard follows him into every project. Every site is custom-built and hand-coded. No templates, no shortcuts, no unfinished work handed off to a support ticket. Nate has played an instrumental role in the formation of Onyx and what it is today. Nick and Nate were childhood friends, and Nick credits Nate with a lot of the inspiration he had to step out on his own and expect more in life. Now together, Nate and Nick are transforming the digital landscape of North Alabama.

Jacob is a results-driven digital marketing professional with a decade of experience spanning both the sales and implementation sides of advertising. He specializes in connecting the right message with the right audience at exactly the right moment, building brand awareness, driving traffic and engagement, and motivating consumers to take action.
